Cairo
Cairo
description

The fragrance wakes up with an intriguing hint of spice; as for saffron and incandescent incense, they reveal their provocative powers. In the heart of the Rose of Damascus, perfume dripping with beauty and swarming with promise, a thousand and one seductive facets give birth to a full and fascinating heart. The balsamic aroma of labdanum, the aromatic aroma of cypriol and sweet vanilla accords evoke the sparkling glamor of this eternal city. Highlights include a cult triptych of woody notes: Sri Lankan sandalwood, Atlas cedar and patchouli reveal a milder, though more carnal and sensual destination.

Penhaligon's

The founder of the brand, William Henry Penhaligon's, arrived in London in the 1860s to make a fortune and thus began his illustrious career. Creative and ambitious, William was inspired by the scents of the Turkish baths of the neighboring Jermyn street and created his first perfume, Hammam Bouquet, in 1874.
