From his workshop, Aurélien Guichard shares his work as a perfumer and reveals his creative approach.
An idea that takes shape around an exceptional natural ingredient with multiple facets. The ingredients are first selected in the field by the perfumer, in different regions of the world, according to their quality and their extraction method, always eco-responsible and fair.
Once the raw materials have been selected, the perfumer develops the formulation based on the central ingredient he wishes to highlight in each creation. One of its facets is then magnified by combining the ingredient with other notes that enhance its nature.
In Santal Austral, for example, the "white" character of sandalwood is magnified by the associated notes of iris and milk, for a magnetic and original result.
