"People back in the day were used to get up and go to bed with the sun setting or rising. We had a completely natural day/night rhythm. And we slept restfully. With industrialization and electric light, that changed. And since we still look at our cell phones even in bed at night, we have completely lost our internal clock.

The good thing is: we can resynchronize this ideal natural day/night rhythm - and thus sleep better and more restfully again and wake up more relaxed and refreshed.

I recommend putting away all electronic devices at least one hour before going to bed until the next morning. And instead, enjoy some precious me-time (because after a long day, we often only have that time in the evening before going to bed, when the kids are asleep, work is done for the day. Have a relaxing bath, light a candle in your bathroom and put on some relaxing music.

And enjoy your evening care routine – just for yourself. These 30 minutes at night before I go to bed are my time for myself. A little luxury and self-care in my every day life so I wake up with great skin, well rested. Ready for the next day. I truly believe the better you sleep, the better you look."
